A light dusting of snow covers the trees and the road between Colemans Hatch and Wych Cross in East Sussex. This is where I grew up. On the left side just ahead is the lane leading to the village cricket pitch; on the right opposite it an unpaved track down to a house buried deep in the forest, and behind that the 9th hole of the Ashdown Hotel golf course.

even now, it doesn’t snow in old blighty in september. is this a scan from an older chemical and minerals image?
Not film. It is from my Canon S100 and was taken while I was back home at the end of 2000. Not sure what happened to the EXIF data on this one though (these were copied from the camera to a PC, moved to another PC, and then exported from there before being imported into iPhoto, so I guess something along that trail dropped the EXIF data).
