Another shot from the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park last weekend. This is the marmalade bush, or Streptosolen jamesonii. It is the only member of its genus, and is native to central and south American countries like Columbia, Ecuador and Peru.
hello, nice picture. I remember going to Golden Gate Park, there are a lot of funny plants… marmalade bush is really unique, it’s flowers would change colors gradually, from yellow to orange to red.
