The sky was really pink, and the reflection of that and the bridge in the relatively calm waters of the bay was what first caught my attention. This is my favourite from the series of shots I took of the bridge & sunset sky.

Very cool shot – I’ve always thought that the Bay Bridge was at least as iconic (though maybe not as historic) as the Golden Gate.
Indeed, not to mention being much more significant in economic terms to the bay area. I currently have the pleasure of driving over it twice a day on my commute, along with many others, and, although my relatively flexible working hours mean I miss the worst of the traffic most days, it is still busy when I use it well after the morning rush is over.
